Your Radiance

The air is crisp on my face,
The sun warms me as it shines through the trees.
The river drowns out the background,
So all I hear is your voice.
The mist splashes upon me,
Your presence is ever so real.
Pour forth like this river upon my soul,
That I might experience your peace.

The mountains tower in your radiance
Each one formed by you
How can it be that in all of your glory
You could love someone like me

I watch the clouds form in front of me,
With each moment you paint something new.
As the rain begins to fall on me,
I remember your promise as a rainbow shines through.
As I walk to the very edge of me,
I see my reflection in a rippling lake.
As I cast my eyes up to the waterfall,
I’m overcome by your peace.

The mountains tower in your radiance.
Each one formed by you.
How can it be that in all of your glory,
You could love someone like me.

It’s Your love that covers all of my sin.
It’s Your love that explains everything.
It’s Your love that saved my soul.
